Chairman Chiang reiterated that administrative neutrality during the elections is the basic position to promote party elections. For the new party election schedule, he will fully respect the considerations of the election agency, as well as the resolutions of the Central Standing Committee, and proceed with the party election procedures as soon as possible. He will formally ask for leave after registering as a chairman candidate so that the democratic system within the party maintains healthy competition.
